Community Arts Council

The arts center development has moved to the next stage.  We plan to apply for a matching grant from the Illinois Bureau of Tourism, but we need to have monetary commitments for 50% of the cost of the development and more input from the community before the grant can be submitted. Fundraising has begun! 

A Haunted Dinner and Haunted Hors d'oeuvres party are in the planning stages.  They are on the calendar for October.  There will also be sponsorship opportunities available.

Watch for information about an Artist Den/House Walk to see artists’ studios and art collections.  The committee is also looking for “Shop and Share” opportunities.  If you would like to help plan or have information to help with these or any other fundraising events, please contact us at 815-933-ARTS.
